PROCORRE100 INITIATIVE
Procorre has launched Procorre100, a new initiative that will see us recruit 100 women in 100 days into our consultancy network.
With a female founder, equality has always been a core value at the company, but we believe more can be done in the industry to get women into top consulting positions, so we’re putting a stake in the ground.
Procorre is looking to attract as many female consultants into its network as possible, across our consultancy’s key sectors, targeting 100 women in 100 working days.
We know that women have so much to offer our industry and yet they are currently underrepresented, despite the financial benefits and flexibility it offers.
The Procorre100 initiative follows Procorre CEO Anne O’Donnell’s contribution to the Vote 100 anniversary book ‘Voice & Vote’, which celebrated 100 years of women being given the right to vote. One of just a handful of business leaders profiled as part of the Vote 100 commemorative campaign, Anne has always championed equality and Procorre100 represents Procorre’s latest step in helping to get more women into management consulting.

“In the consulting world women bring so much experience, specialist knowledge and expertise to the table, yet they are still underrepresented. It’s time to make a stand and get more women into the consulting industry”

LEADING LADIES
Procorre already boasts a network that includes female consultants who are industry thought leaders within a multitude of disciplines and sectors including, IT Data and Analytics, Medical Devices, Change Management and Cyber Security. Here are three such women who will be supporting the Procorre100 initiative.
PREETI CHOUDHARY
QUALITY AND GOVERNANCE MANAGER

“I’ve always wanted to be an entrepreneur, to empower both myself and others. It’s taken me a decade, but I’ve decided to now work for myself as a consultant in the Medical Device and Life Science sector, supporting businesses to manage and steer change, and to navigate them in the right direction.”

“I used to ask myself everyday if I was ready to take up the challenge, and it wasn’t an easy decision, especially when you have a young family and need a stable income.

Over the years, I have gained extensive experience and worked with some great people, however I’ve faced various challenges and criticism along the way. It was overcoming these hurdles that have encouraged me even more to chase my dream and has made me what I am today. Sometimes we have to take a big risk to win and be successful, but you can do it, you just have to be positive and believe in yourself.”

With over a decade of experience, Preeti is a Quality and Governance Manager, specialising in Regulatory affairs, Auditing, Risk and People Management.

Preeti’s most recent role was working in the communications industry, in quality and governance at Communisis. Preeti’s role ensured appropriate governance was in place for processes contained within the business and played a lead role in providing digital communication and services to clients in line with GDPR and data security.

Prior to her role at Communisis,  Preeti worked at a range of Medical Device and FMCG companies, which included holding the position of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Specialist at CooperVision. Here, Preeti safeguarded medical device product registrations in the EU, Africa, Middle East, Central Eurasia and USA, maintaining the certification for ISO13485 and managing the distributor market within these regions.

Preeti holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biotechnology from CCS University, Meerut, India and has a Masters in Industrial & Commercial Biotechnology from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Vivien
VIVIEN CHAFFIN
BUSINESS EXCHANGE CONSULTANT

“I’m supporting the Procorre100 initiative to help raise awareness of the benefits of becoming a consultant, and to help highlight the great contribution women make to the industry.”

“I’ve supported managers through some very difficult business change programmes and know that my experience and expertise has left them with the skills and confidence to lead and deliver successful business change in the future.

I think it’s widely recognised now that a woman’s perspective on complex business challenges is valuable. I truly believe that, as a consultant, the benefit you bring lasts way beyond the time you spend working alongside the business leaders. As a lifestyle, I love the variety and flexibility it gives me too.”

With over 20 years’ experience as a business change consultant, Vivien Chaffin helps managers and business owners to develop their strengths as leaders through delivering successful business change.

Vivien developed her WINNERS programme to give managers a clear and structured process for leading change. It provides a set of tried and tested methods and tools to build a highly motivated and flexible team, able to respond to the challenges of new technology and competition – and deliver change that sticks.

Before founding her own business First Culture in 2012, Vivien was a Principal Consultant at Sopra Steria Consulting. Here she supported clients in the public and private sectors, including the NHS, a number of local authorities, the Police, Boots and Diageo.

Vivien holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and a Masters in Technology & Innovation Management from the University of Sussex.

AUDREY LIMERY
DATA SCIENTIST AND ENTREPRENEUR

“In addition to my own personal goals for developing coding schools, online courses and workshops, I’m supporting the Procorre100 initiative to help raise awareness to the cause and utilise it as part of my own legacy in sharing expertise with others and narrowing the gender gap.”

““As women in this industry, we must lead by example, help to empower and inspire females of all ages, and demonstrate that IT is not a male-industry only but is full of intelligent, successful and highly capable women.

Although I’ve had my fair share of challenges to overcome, including racism and bullying, I believe you can become a successful IT professional regardless of your background or gender, break the barriers and evolve in a male-dominated environment.”

Audrey is a 31 year-old French Data Scientist originally from a Caribbean island called Martinique. She arrived in the UK in 2008 to complete a Supply Chain degree at the University of Huddersfield. Although her background wasn’t in IT, Audrey began working as an Analyst for various corporates such as Boots, MetaPack, and GSK, before becoming a Consultant in a software company.

Audrey is now the Founder and CEO of L.Y. Corp, an IT consultancy she started in 2016, which provides Analytics and Data Science services to businesses. Through her passion for data, Audrey makes it her mission to educate others on the subject. She believes that every organisation, whatever their size, should have the ability to leverage data to make smarter decisions, and impact its performance and revenue.

Audrey is not afraid of putting herself out there, advocating about data and challenging the many stereotypes about women in IT.
